Early check-in and late check-out
You can ask to check in before 15:00 or check out after 10:00. Both depend on the cleaning schedule and whether the apartment is booked around your dates.
Standard times are check-in from 15:00 and check-out by 10:00. Early check-in and late check-out are available on request, subject to availability. Neither is guaranteed, because the apartment may be occupied or being cleaned.
How to ask
Message or call us with your booking reference and the time you would like. The earlier you ask, the more likely we can say yes, because we can plan the cleaning around it. Asking on the day is fine, but the answer depends on what is already scheduled.

What decides the answer
- Early check-in: whether the previous guest has left and whether the clean is finished. If nobody stayed the night before, an early check-in is often possible.
- Late check-out: whether another guest arrives the same day. If the apartment is free that night, a later departure is usually fine.
We will confirm the time in writing. Please do not arrive early or stay late without that confirmation, because your access code is set to the standard times.
If we cannot do it
If an early check-in is not possible, you can still come to Bournemouth and drop your bags in the building where storage is available, then collect your code at 15:00. Ask us what is possible at your building. See the building guides for what each one offers.
