Policy

Partner obligations

The policies every Flexiestays partner agrees to, from anti-discrimination and honest listings to safety standards, on-platform payments and respect for guests.

Partners are bound by the same policies as guests, plus the obligations below. They apply for as long as your property is with Flexiestays.

Anti-discrimination

Every guest must be treated equally. Refusing service, applying different terms or treating a guest unfairly because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or marital or family status is strictly prohibited and results in removal from the platform. Assistance dogs are accepted in every property by arrangement. See the anti-discrimination policy.

Honest listings

Guests are promised accurate descriptions, fair pricing and no hidden fees. Anything you tell us about the property, from the number of beds to the parking, goes into the listing and the arrival instructions, so it must be accurate and kept up to date. Tell us about any change to the property before the next guest arrives.

Safety

Properties must meet our safety standards: secure entry, fire safety and the essential amenities, with no undisclosed recording devices. See property safety standards.

Payments on the platform

All guest payments go through Flexiestays and Stripe. Partners do not take cash or direct payments from guests. See guest payments and partner payouts.

Guests and neighbours

Guest contact is handled by our team. Complaints, disturbances and problems go through us so there is one point of contact and a record. Partners do not enter a property during a stay without our team arranging it with the guest first. See when something goes wrong during a stay.

Communication

Use our channels to keep conversations clear and documented. Abusive or threatening communication, from anyone, may result in account suspension. See community policies.

Breaches

Confirmed breaches are investigated and can lead to suspension or removal from the platform. The terms that govern the partnership, including notice and termination, are in your partner agreement, alongside our terms and conditions.
